On November 3, 2023, Handong E&C, in collaboration with local authorities, N.H.O Company, and most importantly, 100 students and teachers, gathered here to celebrate this momentous occasion. The school is located in a disadvantaged area of Hạ Long City, with over 90% of the population belonging to the Dao Thanh Phán ethnic group. Previously, teachers had to moonlight as "mobile chefs" by cooking at the central school and then transporting meals to the remote site. It was truly not an easy task.
Handong E&C and N.H.O Company teamed up to sponsor the construction of a brand-new kitchen at Hòa Bình - Thác Cát Kindergarten, with a total budget of approximately 500 million Vietnamese đồng. After more than 3 months of construction, the kitchen was officially completed at the end of October 2023, and now, both students and teachers have a cleaner and more convenient kitchen!
We firmly believe that education can change the lives of these young learners. Sponsoring this kitchen project has helped create a friendlier and warmer environment for them.
